Julia Ratliff is a native Richmonder, having grown up in Midlothian, attended VCU for undergrad and Longwood for her MBA, and currently resides in Short Pump. She has worked for the past 15 years in higher education and non-profit settings around town, most recently serving as a Director of Member Services for the YMCA of Greater Richmond. Julia has been married to her husband Graham for 14 years and is mother to Aurora and Odin. On any given day, you can find her listening to music (The Beatles, Cat Stevens, and Crosby Stills Nash are among her favorites), sailing, kayaking, and watching silly comedies (Captain Ron is her favorite movie and What We Do In The Shadows is her favorite TV show). Since a summer spent hiking the Appalachian Trail tagging flying squirrels for research, Julia’s dream is to one day hike it in its entirety.
