This fall, we will explore how we as Christians practice and apply our faith, understand and speak our truth in love, and promote and maintain civility.
The line-up includes three sessions to review and discuss “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?”, the Fred Roger’s documentary. We will view parts of the movie and discuss Fred Roger’s ministry and how he helped children and the adults watching his show navigate the traumas of human life and experience gratitude for life’s everyday blessings. Join us on October 7 & 14.
We will also have two sessions with Rev. Dr. Samuel Adams from Union Presbyterian Seminary who will lead a discussion on how we can build trust and maintain civility in community on October 21 & 28. In addition, we will have a few Wired Word facilitated discussions of current events and how they relate to our faith on September 30 and November 11 & 19.
Please join us in the Upper Fellowship Hall each Sunday at 10:10 am.
